Yummy Frozen yoghurt & strawberries pops

Must read

The month (December) just excites me J J, It’s festive time, meaning Christmas is just around the corner JJ,  its summer, long holiday season for a lot of us and most of all as a cook, it means it’s time to try out new recipes, as many as possible (hahaha).

I really love festive season, this is the time that I get to spend time mostly with my husband, family, relatives and friends. Surprising them with new recipes, new dishes and endless desserts (hahaha)  is the best thing to do at this time.

However, these desserts are prepared moderately because too much of it, is no good…. Oooh, I must say, most of my family members and friends don’t like me saying that to them, “ke December boss” they would say…. allow us to just indulge, we will worry about that in January ( hahaha)

So I tried out some frozen yoghurt pops, perfect treats for hot summer days,  when I was preparing them, I had my nephews and nieces in mind.

However, I realised that they can be perfect for both adults and kids. Most adults do love frozen yoghurt and I am one of them. So yummy, creamy and they are healthy too J.

I am super excited to share with you, the simplest way to prepare this treat.

Yummy Frozen yoghurt & strawberries pops

You will only need

1 cup fruit cocktail yoghurt or any flavour of your choice

1 cup, sliced fresh strawberries ( you can also use frozen or canned)

Instructions

Blend the strawberries in a blender or food processor until a little pureed

If the yoghurt is a bit thick, give it a stir.

Fill your popsicle molds ¼  ( 3 to 4 tablespoons) with the strawberry puree. Top it up with yoghurt

Freeze for 4-6 hours or until completely frozen.

Too yummy!! Enjoy

P.S. when removing from the freezer, set them aside for a few minutes then carefully remove them from the molds J
