WORLD LEISURE HOLIDAYS (WLH), a renowned travel agency in South Africa, are proud to announce that they are one of the sponsors of the popular Huisgenoot Miss Teen 2024 competition. This iconic competition, which originally started in 1962, is back and is looking for a new generation of participants between the ages of 13 and 18.

The Huisgenoot Miss Teen 2024 competition, in collaboration with WLH, is seeking a role model for the youth of today. Entries are already open, and participants have the chance to not only win the title but also an exclusive family vacation to Mauritius, a cash prize of R10,000, and much more.

Yvonne Beyers, Huisgenoot‘s editor, says: “We are excited to revive this iconic competition again after all these years. We believe there is incredible talent among South Africa’s teenage girls, and we look forward to seeing who will walk away with the coveted title this year.”

The entry process is simple and can be done online via the special Miss Teen-website.

Participants can showcase their creativity by uploading a photo of themselves, writing a short motivation, and creating a creative TikTok video where they share more about themselves.

Entries close on 29 February 2024 at 17:00, and TikTok videos must be uploaded by the closing date.

WLH is privileged to be part of this exciting initiative and to support the creative and talented teenage girls of South Africa.

GREAT PRIZES ARE UP FOR GRABS:

·         The winner will walk away with a sponsored family vacation in Mauritius by World Leisure Holidays.

·         The top 10 finalists of the Miss Teen competition each win two bottles of perfume oil, a notebook, and a carry bag from Tapputi Egyptian Perfume Oils.

·         The winner’s article will appear in Huisgenoot, with an insert photo on Huisgenoot‘s cover. The article will also be featured on huisgenoot.com and on Huisgenoot‘s social media.

·         Miss Teen will feature as a model in Huisgenoot‘s fashion pages and appear as a guest presenter on a program on the VIA television channel.

·         The winner also receives a hamper from Tapputi Egyptian Perfume Oils, including five bottles of perfume oil, notebooks, and carry bags. She may also be invited to appear as a model in marketing materials for this brand.

·         Miss Teen 2024 will also walk away with a cash prize of R10 000.
