Dream Drive Launches ‘Derby Kings’ Campaign Ahead of Soweto Showdown
April 2024, Johannesburg, South Africa: Dream Drive, South Africa's premier skill-based dream car competition platform, has launched a new promo campaign that's set to bring the heat both on and off the pitch. Titled 'Dream Drive Derby Kings', the campaign fuses football, personality, and petrolhead dreams into one epic showdown, all in the lead-up to the Soweto Derby, South Africa's most iconic football clash.
To kick things off, Dream Drive brought together two of the country's biggest football icons: Itumeleng Khune (Kaizer Chiefs) and Happy Jele (Orlando Pirates). Hosted by the legendary Siphiwe Tshabalala, the two rivals go head-to-head in a series of entertaining challenges to determine who will be crowned the ultimate Soweto Derby King.
To introduce the campaign, Dream Drive dropped a spaghetti western-style teaser featuring the two legends in a cinematic standoff, Khune in a striking yellow Ford Ranger Wildtrak and Jele in the sleek black Jaecoo J7. Both vehicles, along with more than 25 others, are currently available to win on the Dream Drive platform.
Over the coming weeks, fans can watch a series of light-hearted but competitive challenges unfold between the two players, all referred by Shabba himself. Each challenge will bring fans closer to the action while celebrating the legendary rivalry between Chiefs and Pirates in a way only Dream Drive can deliver.
But the real magic? It's for the fans.
Dream Drive is giving away an exclusive VIP experience for one lucky fan and a friend to attend the Soweto Derby in serious style.
