Best known for his work on Coke Studio Africa, which featured collaborations with stars like DJ Maphorisa and AKA, and multiple radio chart hits, Young DLC is back with a single written and produced with a clear vision of spreading positivity.
“‘Sunshine Vibe’ is about capturing those carefree, golden-hour moments — the ones that make you feel alive,” says Young DLC. “It’s a song I made to spread joy, to uplift, and to remind people what it feels like to dance in the sunshine. The single is a natural evolution for Young DLC, who has been quietly building a powerhouse career over the last decade – from producing for some of Africa’s biggest stars to crafting music for major global brands and networks. A former resident producer on Coke Studio Africa (2017 & 2019), he’s worked with icons like Patoranking, Yemi Alade, DJ Maphorisa, AKA, and Sha Sha. In 2024, his remix of December Streets’ “Ghosts” reached number one on 5FM’s Dance Chart, and his previous hit “Unozviziva” featuring Nutty O spent eight weeks in StarFM Zimbabwe’s Top 10.
Now, stepping further into the spotlight as a solo artist and DJ, Young DLC is carving out his own lane, one that blends culture, rhythm, and emotion into an infectious dance music experience.
