The winner will receive a host of green upgrades including a Jo Jo Tank, a solar geyser and water-saving taps. This environmentally friendly makeover will be carried out by Waldan Builders.

According to Senior Centre Manager Arrif Shaik, Springfield Value Centre will be installing eco-friendly water upgrades to reduce the utility & water bills at the school”
The green upgrade at the school forms part of the broader SA Corporate (Pty) Ltd SOS Campaign (Support Our Schools), which aims to help improve the quality of education in the country and provide hope for future generations. This was inspired by respected statesman and father of our nation, Mr Nelson Mandela, who believed that education was the most powerful weapon which could be used to change communities.

The SOS Education Campaign targets communities close to SA Corporate (Pty) Ltd property portfolio. Each retail centre is encouraged to “adopt” a school as a recipient of a variety of CSI initiatives in order to make a sustainable and measurable impact.
