Then there were EIGHT! Following this Sunday’s Live Eviction show tonight, Sunday 8 March, King Wanda and The Don have become the latest housemates to exit the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa house.
With the jungle-themed stage in line with week 8’s theme, the Live Eviction Show was opened by De Rose ft DJ Jaivane, Smaki 08 & Wesley Keys performing the hit ‘Lutho’, ushering in the show host Smash Afrika who acknowledged that it has indeed “been a wild week!”
Smash asked Ashay as HoH for the second week in a row, how it has been, being the leader with yet another wager loss. Ashay honestly admitted that he felt also at fault for not having been firmer with the housemates’ delivery as he should have been. Liema admitted that the loss, which led to their messages from home being withdrawn, really hit her hard, saying she was looking forward to getting some words of encouragement from home.
Que was the first Bazozwa housemates to be declared safe…showing his resilience and a strong fanbase as he has survived all the times he has been up for eviction since Week 1. With Thandeka and Liema also declared safe, it did not bode well for King Wanda as he was announced as the week’s first evicted housemate.
On the Bazozwa live stage, looking ‘real Zulu’ according to Smash, King Wanda said that he had many thoughts going through his head, but more than anything, he was looking forward to seeing his daughter.

Before announcing how Mzansi voted next, Smash asked Didi what her strategy is, because it looked like she was ‘falling under Trixie and Liema’s shadow’, to which she said that it looks like that because she has no strategy, just playing the game.
The Don was the next housemates to be evicted and on stage said he did not want to be over-confident when Smash asked the house earlier who was confident, they would make it to the end. With tears in his eyes,
The Don said that he was emotional because the house can ‘really be draining’ and that he missed Neliswa, whose disqualification he felt was unfair.

The Jungle Theme and Wager
Week 8 in the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa house delivered pure jungle chaos as alliances cracked and the race to the finale intensified even more.
The week kicked off with Ashay securing the Head of House (HoH) title, successfully defending his leadership for another week and earning immunity. He chose Liema to join him in the HoH loft, strengthening their strategic bond while the rest of the house prepared for tense nominations.
The housemates went all in on their weekly wager task, going in with 100% of their shopping budget on a jungle-themed performance.
Their mission was to tell a predator-versus-prey story reflecting the alliances and survival tactics inside the house. With animal costumes, body paint and dramatic calls, the housemates fully embraced the jungle concept.
Biggie praised their visual effort, describing them as “rare and dangerously beautiful animals”. But the storytelling didn’t land! According to Biggie, the housemates relied too heavily on notes rather than delivering an authentic narrative about their journey. As a result, the wager was lost, leaving the house without their expected shopping rewards.
What started as confidence quickly turned into disappointment, proving once again that in Biggie’s house, effort alone isn’t enough.
Conspiracies, Rule Breaks & Jungle Punishment
The week also introduced the Conspiracy Block, a special space where housemates could openly discuss normally forbidden topics, including nominations and alliances.
The conversations were messy but revealing, as housemates unpacked strategies, debated who should leave the house and exposed shifting loyalties. However, the week also came with consequences.
Biggie called a serious house meeting to address ongoing rule breaking. Thandeka and Mmeli received final warnings for repeatedly ignoring instructions, while the entire house suffered a collective punishment leading to messages from home being withdrawn. The announcement hit hard, leaving several housemates emotional and reminding everyone that discipline still matters deep into the game.
Fallouts, Instigator Claims & Relationship Tensions
Relationship drama also took center stage! King Wanda dropped a bombshell when he revealed that Trixie had allegedly made a negative remark about Bravo B. The information immediately triggered a confrontation between the couple, placing their “Brixie” relationship under serious strain. Trixie later confronted King Wanda directly, accusing him of being an instigator for repeating the comment.
The debate spilled beyond the house, with viewers questioning whether stirring drama is strategic gameplay or simply reckless.
Elsewhere, tensions flared during wager preparations when Liema raised concerns about whether the group’s presentation was strong enough. Her last-minute critique frustrated several housemates, with King Wanda, Mmeli and Bravo B arguing that concerns should have been raised earlier.
Saturday Night Party Confessions & Confidence
The Saturday Night Party once again delivered post-party drama. After the music from DJ Cndo died down, King Wanda casually claimed that Trixie had been chasing Bravo B since the start of the season…a comment that sparked conversation across the house.
Instead of denying it, Trixie leaned into the moment. She proudly admitted that she had indeed pursued Bravo B and said she had ‘no regrets’ about it. Her bold response turned what could have been embarrassment into a declaration of confidence, reinforcing her reputation for owning her choices.
This week has proven that life in the Bazozwa jungle is becoming tougher every day and housemates are really feeling pressure of the endgame. In this jungle, alliances shift very quickly, secrets never stay buried and every move could decide who survives and who becomes R2 million richer at the end.
