ohannesburg, March 2026: Following Sunday’s live eviction, the energy inside the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa house has shifted dramatically amongst the official Top 10.

What started out as a reflective confession session quickly turned into intense competition – a difficult Head of House (HoH) challenge and explosive live nominations. The Top 10 are no longer playing nice but playing to win!
The Head of House (HoH) Challenge
This week’s HoH challenge was not for the faint-hearted as it tested teamwork, endurance and focus in three demanding rounds.
The housemates started off with the Elephant Formation, linking arms as they navigated a tricky course without breaking the chain. The winning team advanced to the Predatory Walk, a challenge that saw them zig-zag on all fours to collect animals before sprinting back upright without knocking over cups.
Then came the ultimate decider, the Banana Challenge where blindfolded finalists had to fish out bananas from a box filled with mixed fruit and vegetables. After that showdown, Ashay was crowned the winner, again, securing immunity for the week and claiming the HoH loft. He selected Liema as his guest, while the rest of the house braced for nominations.
The Week’s Nominations
With immunity secured for Ashay, the spotlight shifted to live nominations and the gloves came off!
- Thandeka nominated Trixie, accusing her of constantly seeking apologies while interfering in her friendship with Bravo B. She also put up Didi and Liema, saying Liema inserts herself into her affairs.
- Trixie returned the fire, nominating Thandeka and labelling her “evil, narcissistic and disrespectful.” She also nominated Mmeli, claiming unresolved tension
- Ashay kept it strategic, nominating Mmeli and Que, saying strong players must target other strong players.
- Liema openly admitted that she does not like Thandeka and would rather see her outside the house. She also nominated Mmeli, calling him strong competition for the R2 million prize.
- Bravo B put up King Wanda and The Don, saying survival mode has officially begun.
- King Wanda nominated Thandeka, describing her as a bully who has made his stay unbearable, and added Mmeli due to lack of friendship.
- Que targeted Bravo B and The Don, arguing both are well-liked and need to be shaken up.
- Didi nominated Thandeka, saying she cannot coexist with her, and Mmeli, saying he mirrors Thandeka’s behaviour.
- The Don nominated Thandeka for allegedly bullying his friend and added Mmeli for enabling her actions.
- Mmeli nominated The Don, noting he has not faced eviction recently, and Liema, whom he sees as strong competition.
By the end of the dramatic session, All 9 housemates were all up for possible eviction.
The Week’s Theme: IT’S A JUNGLE OUTCHEA
With the finale around the corner, the Bazozwa House is turning into a jungle where only the boldest, smartest, and most strategic housemates will survive. This is the final hunt: a full-on scramble to take out the competition and secure a spot in the endgame.
You can expect simulated animal kingdom (Jumanji-style jungle set-up outdoors), animal suits coupled with hunting of prey by predator housemates, outdoor cooking, and fireside activities.
Villain Era Confessions
The housemates also took time to reflect during a light and candid “villain era” confession session. They looked back on the moments in their lives when they realised that they may not have been the hero of their own story.
Bravo B admitted that during his school days, his need to always be on top made him realise he might have been the problem. Meanwhile, Didi confessed that while she gets angry at cheating partners, she has cheated too, joking that at least she makes sure she never gets caught.
On the other hand, King Wanda shared a deeply personal story about leaving a good relationship for someone new, admitting he made his ex feel like it was her fault. Liema reflected on entertaining two guys at once, realising she should never have put herself in that position.
Thandeka acknowledged that in the past she blamed only toxic partners without examining why she attracted them, while her boo Mmeli shocked some housemates by admitting he bullied a schoolmate in primary school and does not regret it.
Que kept it playful, insisting he is “never wrong.” The Don said his villain moment came after several failed talking stages last year. Trixie shared that her turning point was choosing to go to rehab, a decision prompted by her need for self-awareness and growth. Contrary to all, HoH Ashay, on the other hand, said he has never really had a villain era, describing himself as “chilled and neutral”.
With tensions high and almost the entire house facing eviction, it is clear that the villain chapter might not be over just yet.
