A Safe Seat at the Salon Table
Today marks the official launch of The Salon Sessions, a fresh talk series produced by TGTM Agency that creates a safe, stylish space for women to gather, share, and learn from one another.

The debut episode, The Sisterhood Clause, is now live on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, featuring dynamic conversations between host Zee Nxumalo, lifestyle influencer Thandiwe Dube, and sports broadcaster Sinethemba Mbatha.
At its core, The Salon Sessions aims to bridge women across different walks of life — from media and sport to lifestyle and culture — by fostering unfiltered, mind-opening conversations that feel just like “salon talk.”
The Voices Behind Episode One
Zee Nxumalo (Host):
“When Madondo approached me about this I immediately shut it down, cause what do I know about hosting?! But after some convincing I became open to giving it a try. I won’t lie, I was a nervous wreck during our shooting – but it was quite interesting. I had some mind-opening conversations while getting to do something new. So looking back, I’m happy to have given this a go, and be part of it as I think it’s a really amazing concept.”
Thandiwe Dube (Influencer):
“What makes The Salon Sessions so important right now is the visibility and representation it creates. Women from different industries can speak honestly about their journeys, and that not only inspires but also normalizes the challenges we face. It’s more than dialogue — it’s a cultural shift towards solidarity, openness, and showing women that they are seen and not alone.”
Sinethemba Mbatha (Sports Broadcaster):
“As a sports girl, most of my conversations are only about sport — so The Salon Sessions unlocked a different side of me. It reminded me of the power of sisterhood, of being seen, and of learning from women in completely different fields. This platform proves that we don’t need to compete; we can support, uplift, and inspire each other.”
A Word from the Creators
Wandile Madondo, Creator & Executive Producer of The Salon Sessions:
“Our vision with The Salon Sessions is to create more than content — it’s a cultural space. A space where women can come together, learn from each other, and feel heard. This is the first TGTM production, and we’re intentional about shaping stories that don’t just entertain, but truly empower.”
Ntombi Shiceka, Executive Producer & Founder of Liphezulu Financial Services:
“As a 100% female-owned financial services provider, Liphezulu is committed to supporting platforms that speak directly to women and empower them in meaningful ways. The Salon Sessions made sense for us because it is unapologetically women-facing — it gives women an authentic seat at the table to share, connect, and inspire across industries. For us, supporting this project is not just about media, it’s about impact and representation.”
