This September, tashas marked 20 years of delicious food, meaningful connection, and the spirit of generosity that has defined the brand since day one. To celebrate this milestone, CEO and Founder of Tashas Group, Natasha Sideris, and her team invited customers to join them in making a meaningful impact – by supporting the fight against hunger in South Africa.

Thanks to the generosity of tashas’ customers, the campaign raised over R143 000, enabling SA Harvest to deliver 143 000 meals to beneficiary organisations across South Africa (1 rand = 1 meal). The initiative, which launched on World Food Day (16 October) ran until 27 November 2025, exceeded the partnership’s original target to deliver 130 000 meals.
Guests were inspired to contribute through everyday dining – for every purchase of two of tashas’ signature dishes – Creamy Pesto Pasta or Chicken Crunch Salad – R20 was donated, enough to deliver 20 meals to those in need. Guests also had the option to add R20 to their bill, in‑store or via UberEats, to contribute directly to the cause.
SA Harvest, a pioneering food rescue and hunger relief organisation, has already delivered over 91.85 million meals and saved more than 23.3 million kilograms of food from going to waste.
“We are proud to have stood alongside SA Harvest and our guests in creating real change, one plate at a time,” says Natasha. “This campaign reflects the heart of tashas – beautiful food, stunning environments, and engaging personal service, all underpinned by a legacy of generosity.”
