An 18-year-old Cape Town male student was seriously injured after plunging from the third floor and landing on a first floor balcony of a students’ residence in Cape Town in the early hours of this morning around 5:00am.
The student fell two storeys and landed on a balcony on the first floor of the same building,the young man had sustained serious fractures to the lower part of his body.
Cape Town Fire and Rescue services used a Bronto Skylift to lower the patient down to ground floor so that paramedics could continue treatment. Although the main cause of the incident is reportedly still unknown.
