The 57th Ballito Pro Presented by O’Neill has delivered an exceptional opening week, with thousands of visitors soaking up the action at Willard Beach, KwaDukuza. The surfing has produced standout performances, with the Challenger Series kicking off on Sunday. This excitement has been matched with family entertainment, beach activations, and community events on the festival side… with so much more to come!​

SA’s best skateboarders also competed in the O’Neill Ballito Pro Skate Jam at The Lot Skate Park, Level 2 in Ballito Junction where Tylor Houston top the top spot! The excitement continues next week with the Surf & Turf Tag Series (Thursday, 16 July), where professional surfers will team up with former Bafana Bafana stars in a relay competition celebrating the FIFA World Cup spirit. Music fans can look forward to the free Ballito Pro Music Concerts Presented by Corona at Salt Rock Main Beach (16 and 17 July), featuring an incredible line-up of South African artists, alongside the popular Corona Sunset SessionsBattle of the DJs, and vibrant After Dark Parties.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy the bustling Retail Village, delicious food vendors, beach games, volleyball and soccer activations, Jive With Jen children’s activities, yoga and Pilates sessions, beach rugby and judo, the Ballito Arts Showcase, SeaHer women’s surf activations, tourism experiences, and conservation initiatives including Litter4Tokens and the new Stop the Strangle campaign.
