RICKY GERVAIS REVEALS THAT HE’S TOLD THE GOLDEN GLOBES NOT TO ASK HIM TO HOST AGAIN
EXCLUSIVE: Today, Ricky Gervais faced a grilling from LADbible in an interview for the launch of the last season of After Life as they questioned him whether he would consider hosting the Golden Globes again in the future, despite the shocking and often controversial jokes he has infamously made in his five-time gig of the awards. He said:
“It could be the Golden Globes could offer me 10 million for 10 minutes work, you know, and I’d be an idiot, I’d be a liar, to say I wouldn’t consider it,” the seven-time BAFTA winner told LADbible.
“But at the moment, given I’ve done it five times, it got better and better for me – I enjoyed them all, but it got better – and I’m planning never to do it again. “I’ve asked them not to ask me because I can be persuaded, that’s true. You know, it’s not a principle.”
