Reshaping Retail: Nicci Boutiques Unveils New Store at Fourways Mall

South Africa’s longest-standing boutique continues on an upward trajectory.

Nicci Boutiques unveiled its brand-new store in Fourways Mall, Johannesburg, on the 16th of November 2023.

Niki Breger, Co-founder of Nicci, says: “We are thrilled about our new store opening. It is bigger and better, having doubled in size compared to the previous Nicci shop located nearby.”

The new Nicci store can be found in the new section of the renowned Fourways Mall, located on the ground level, diagonally across from Starbucks, store number NG93.

According to Niki, it was time for an upgrade. “The previous store was slightly outdated and too small to accommodate our growing customer base,” she explains.

Nicci’s consumer-led brand growth
The previous Nicci store at Fourways Mall had over 437 devoted customers, and with the opening of the new shop, this number is bound to increase. “The new store will hopefully bring in more fashion-forward customers with its alluring new shop fixtures, fabulous clothes, and convenient location,” adds Niki.

The new Nicci store is aimed to create an unforgettable brand experience for shoppers as the brand continues to keep its clientele at the forefront of all its operations.

The Nicci brand continues to go from strength to strength with a growing customer base who are extremely loyal and place their trust in the company’s consultants, who are experts in fashion and customer relations. When stepping inside a Nicci store, customers are assured that they will have a unique boutique encounter that is sensational, inspiring, and personal.

Agile brand strategy
Established in 1992, Nicci is one of the most established boutiques in South Africa. Starting with just three stores, Nicci has grown its national footprint significantly. Today, Nicci boasts 19 stores across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, the Garden Route, and online, all of which are located in the most sought-after shopping districts in South Africa.

Despite global economic pressure, the Nicci brand remains steadfast and is showing unbelievable growth even during these turbulent times. “We are optimistic about the future as we continue to lead the boutique market in South Africa, bringing only the best fashion from across the world to the sunny shores of our beloved country,” explains Niki.

The Nicci brand is agile and has learnt to continually evolve and adapt while creating value. “Throughout the customer journey, we strive to create meaningful touchpoints. We want to positively influence the overall shopping experience, from pre-purchase to post,” adds Niki.

Reshaping retail
As one of South Africa’s longest-standing boutiques, the company has stayed fresh by continually adding new contemporary lines, such as its locally produced clothing lines – Local Love and Cocoon. Each brand has its own identity and a clear creative vision.

“Nicci’s limited clothing ranges are carefully curated, stylishly diverse and ethically produced, showcasing how the brand places people and planet at the heart of everything it does,” adds Niki.

Black November at Nicci
To commemorate the launch of the Fourways Mall store, Nicci is running a one-day-only promotion. This is one of the many promotions Nicci has been rolling out nationwide for Black November.

Shoppers can expect weekly promotions at Nicci stores countrywide and online as the brand builds up for the big finale of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Ladies are encouraged to keep an eye out for the weekly promotion codes and discounted items.

Timeless fashion
Nicci has become known for its effortless style, glamour, and sophistication. The brand is fiercely passionate about empowering women to embrace their individuality and harness their uniqueness through fashion.

“Nicci offers women of all ages and sizes unique styles that set them apart, and with a new clothing ‘pack’ launched weekly, there truly is something for everyone,” concludes Niki.
