Current host Phumeza Mdabe says family comes first and every other thing comes thereafter for her.
The perfect wedding presenter says she won’t be hosting the show on the new season as the program is taking a toll on her family life.
“I love the show but it was affecting the time I spent with my husband and sons. I have a 17 month year old boy plus also two children from my husband’s previous relationship,”
She says she virtually has only two days a week at home to spend time with her family. The show’s production runs from Wednesdays to Sundays. This includes shooting, researching and doing voice-overs.
Mdabe says the punishing schedule means the crew sometimes work up to 18 hours a day. She has been presenting the show for six months.
