Johannesburg, South Africa – October 2025: Punchline Projects is proud to celebrate two milestone moments for its talents, Pamela Mtanga and Zee Nxumalo, who continue to dominate across the entertainment landscape.

“Pamela and Zee are stepping into their power and showing what it means to own the stage, whether it’s through television, hosting, or music,” said Shingai Darangwa, Managing Director of Punchline Projects. “Pamela co-hosting Miss South Africa is a defining career moment, while Zee embracing live band performances signals her growth into one of the most complete artists in the country. These are breakthrough chapters, and we’re looking forward to many more.”
Pamela Mtanga: An Arrival Moment on the Continental Stage
Pamela Mtanga has officially been announced as the co-host of Miss South Africa 2025, one of the continent’s most prestigious hosting opportunities. The appointment cements her as one of South Africa’s most sought-after voices in television and live entertainment.
“This is very much an ‘I’ve arrived’ moment for Pamela,” added Darangwa. “Hosting Miss SA puts her on one of the most visible stages in the country and across the continent. It’s a culmination of years of consistency, discipline, and magnetic presence, and I believe it’s only the beginning of what she’s about to achieve.”
This moment follows an impressive run of recent milestones. Pamela hosted this year’s DStv Delicious Festival, sharing the stage with global icons Lauryn Hill and Don Toliver. She also continues her role as host of Brutal Fruit’s flagship event series, The Pink Table.
Zee Nxumalo: A New Era of Live Performance
Zee Nxumalo continues to scale new heights in her music career. Last weekend, she headlined her first full live band show at The Pink Table in Durban, marking a new chapter in her artistry. She will headline the remaining Johannesburg and Cape Town editions later this year, with a focus on live band performances becoming a central part of her future.
“Zee’s evolution into a live band artist is a big step in her journey,” said Darangwa. “It shows her intent to grow her craft and take her performances to a new level. There’s a maturity and fearlessness to her artistry now, and audiences are going to feel that with every performance she does.”
Her live evolution comes during a year of accolades: Zee was recently nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the South African Music Awards, following her win as Artist of the Year at the Basadi in Music Awards in August. She also made her debut at the DStv Delicious Festival this year, performing for one of the largest lifestyle audiences in the country. This also comes amidst various large scale brand collaborations and an upcoming short film.
Punchline Projects: Building Cultural Leaders
From national television to major music stages, Punchline Projects’ talents are shaping defining moments in South African culture.
“At Punchline, we’ve always said our goal is to build cultural leaders,” Darangwa concluded. “Pamela and Zee embody that vision in different but equally powerful ways. With the momentum they have now, we’re looking forward to more landmark announcements and even bigger wins on the horizon.”
