The America’s Got Talent host, Nick Cannon praised his estranged wife Mariah Carey in an Instagram posting on Wednesday despite some harsh lyrics in her new break-up song Infinity. He posted an image of Mariah from her upcoming #1 To Infinity greatest hits compilation album.

Nick wrote in the caption: ‘#TheQueen #NoHate #HardestWorkingWomanIKnow,’

Despite the dismissive lyrics Nick has been been promoting Mariah’s third compilation album on his Instagram account.

He posted the same album artwork on April 12 with the hashtag ‘Family First’ in the caption.

The break-up anthem premiered on Sunday with a lyric video on YouTube and contained some pointed lyrics.

The five-time Grammy winning singer clearly stated: ‘You lost the best you ever had/There’s an end to infinity.’

‘Why you mad/Talkin’ ’bout you’re mad/Could it be that you just lost the best you’ve ever had,’ she belts out.

‘Show is over/Boy you actin’ so corny like Fritos/ Wouldn’t have none of that without me, though,’ she continues, comparing his fame and career to a bag of corn chips.

The scorned ex doesn’t stop there, she also mentions his money or lack thereof.

‘Is it lack of ice got you so cold?/Have you ever felt this on your own?/Why you tryin’ to play like you’re so grown?/Everything you own boy you still owe.’

And if that wasn’t enough, the lyrics to the chorus gave insight to what Mariah’s really trying to convey.

‘Close the door/Lose the key/Leave my heart on the mat for me/I was yours eternally/There’s an end to infinity.’
