JOHANNESBURG |The 2025 GQ Best Dressed Awards were elevated to new heights as two of South Africa’s most powerful voices, Mashudu and Sjava under Africori, headlined the prestigious event with show-stopping performances that turned the evening into a cultural milestone.

Opening the stage, Mashudu stunned the audience with her biggest chart-topping hits. Her performance of Waze Wamuhle and Umoya, both produced by amapiano pioneer Kelvin Momo, brought the room to life as guests realised she was the voice behind some of the genre’s most defining anthems. His rendition of Umbayimbayi brought guests to their feet, earning a powerful standing ovation as the crowd united in song and celebration. Sjava once again showcased his unique ability to blend music, culture, and emotion into moments that resonate far beyond the stage.
