Lolli Native Shares Emotional Reflections After Completing a Triumphant Cape Town Leg of the Amandla Tour

Must read

Cape Town, South Africa: 38 Talent proudly celebrates a major milestone as Lolli Native concludes a deeply successful and emotionally charged Cape Town tour, supported by Emtee and presented by 38 Talent. The Cape Town run formed part of the nationwide Amandla Tour, a powerful tribute to Lolli Native’s latest album, Amandla, and a celebration of South African hip-hop’s enduring influence.

Fresh off the road, Lolli Native expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters, describing the experience as “emotional, humbling, and life-changing.” Returning home to perform as a solo artist for the very first time proved to be one of the most defining moments of his career.

“Performing in my hometown… I can’t even explain it,” Lolli shared. “Cape Town raised me, and coming back with Amandla, my truth, my story, felt like everything came full circle. The love was overwhelming. I’m honestly emotional thinking about it.”

A Tour Powered by Unity, Energy & Spirit

The Amandla Tour officially kicked off at the South African State Theatre in Pretoria, where Lolli Native delivered a fiery performance joined by South African hip-hop talents Bugzito and SimsATM. The high-voltage opening night set the stage for what has now become one of the standout local tours of the year.

Lolli has continued to share the stage with his longtime friend and award-winning rapper Emtee, with Pascal, CEO of 38 Talent, supporting every step of the journey. Together, they electrified audiences at Coyotes Lounge in Mbombela and Johannesburg, delivering unforgettable performances that blended energy, storytelling, and the raw lyricism that defines South African hip-hop.

Cape Town: A Homecoming to Remember

From Monday, November 10 to Sunday, November 16, the tour reached Cape Town, marking Lolli Native’s hometown solo debut. Night after night, crowds filled venues across the city to witness history in the making as Lolli brought Amandla to life on stage, backed by Emtee and the unwavering support of 38 Talent.

The Cape Town tour not only drew massive audiences but also resonated with deep emotional significance for Lolli Native, who has long represented the city through his iconic Spaza rap style.

“Cape Town has always been in my music,” Lolli said. “But performing here during the Amandla Tour… it made me realise how powerful our stories really are. I’m inspired to go even harder for the culture.”

Amandla: A Sonic Declaration of Power

Amandla, meaning “power” in Xhosa, marks a bold new era in Lolli Native’s artistry. The album blends traditional Spaza rap with fresh collaborations and modern production, reflecting both his roots and his evolution. The Amandla Tour channels that same spirit, uniting fans nationwide and spotlighting the strength of South African hip-hop.

More dates and locations for the Amandla Tour will be announced soon on Lolli Native and 38 Talent’s official social media channels.
