Flattering Burgundy A – Line dress with Mary Ndlovu

Must read

Mary looked all sorts of gorgeous in a flattering burgundy A – Line dress with white polka dots that had a see-through back, this dress steadily tapers out from the waist to the hem in strong, straight lines, revealing a silhouette like the edges of a capital letter A; perfectly created to create an illusion of eye catching curves.

This modest look was completed with chunky heels and despite the length of chunky heels, they are one of those surprisingly comfortable shoes, the chunkier base at the bottom offers more space and comfort when you walk around. Designed mostly in medium length, you can pair it up with your denims, evening gowns or chic dresses.

We had a chat with this delightful model who wore a smile so captivating that whatever she wore faded in comparison to how her smile draws one in.

She shared a bit about who she is and her modelling career with us.

Tell us about yourself

My name is Marylyn Ndlovu aged 16 going for 17. I am originally from Zimbabwe

Earliest childhood memory

One of my favourite childhood memories was playing dress up with my sisters. We would take some or our mother’s clothes, wear them and pretend to be grown-ups. We would even wear some of her makeup and pretend to be models at a fashion show.

Why modeling?

To me modeling is my only way of expressing how I feel. When l am happy l smile and capture those moments, the same applies when l am frustrated. I get to show the world that despite how you look, you can Still make someone see the world in a different light.

Do you model full time?

No, part-time l am still a high school student.

What other modeling jobs have you done?

None, this is my first BIG break if l can put it that way.

Do you have any advice for aspiring models?

Nothing is impossible and nothing can stop you from whoever you want to be…….but just to say everything happens at its own time, your time is coming.

What would you say to your younger self in 2 words?

Dream Big.
