The Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation, in partnership with the Hollywood Foundation, is thrilled to announce new highlights for the 5th annual EmpoweringHER Seminar & Business Awards 2025, taking place on Saturday, 15 November 2025, at the Inanda Club, Johannesburg, from 09:00 to 17:00 under the theme “Women: The Boldest Strokes of Colour”, this milestone year, known as “The Power of 50”, celebrates a collective of 50 extraordinary women who continue to redefine leadership, innovation, and impact across South Africa and the globe.
EmpoweringHER 2025 returns to the Inanda Club this year, bringing together past winners and celebrating this year’s theme, ‘The Power of 50.’ Attendees will not only witness the celebration of 50 women whose businesses have been empowered but will also have the unique opportunity to gain insights from influential business leaders in the room, who are set to share their knowledge and expertise to inspire and guide the next generation of female entrepreneurs.

Zozibini Tunzi to Grace the EmpoweringHER Stage
In a powerful new announcement, organisers have confirmed that Zozibini Tunzi, actress, TV host, global icon, and former Miss Universe; will join the EmpoweringHER 2025 experience.
“We are beyond honoured to have Zozibini with us,” says Nomzamo Mbatha, Founder of the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation. “She continues to inspire women around the world to stand tall in their authenticity and lead with purpose.
