JOHANNESBURG – President Cyril Ramaphosa has implemented a nationwide lockdown from midnight, Thursday 26 March.

The lockdown will last for 21 days.

The president believes the infections rate will climb in South Africa.

Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Monday after South Africa confirmed 402 positive cases of COVID-19.
