Window washers attack motorist in Bruma

A video which has gone viral online showed roadside window washers attacking a motorist at an intersection in Bruma, east Johannesburg.

Another Facebook post describes how a man was stabbed with a screw driver in the head‚ his injury needing three stitches at the same intersection by window washer.

reports says many motorists approach this intersection in dread and have pepper spray or other protection at the ready.

Despite Gauteng police launching Operation Ke Molao by the Johannesburg city council last year, that was meant to combat window washers and vagrant, they haven’t been able to solve the problem.
