Two Trains Collide At Denver Station In Joburg

One person has been reported dead with over 80 people injured in train collision at the Denver station in Johannesburg early hour of this morning.

ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said that the man who died was presumed to be the driver of one of the trains with another female, who was trapped between one of the trains and a wall, was removed by ER24 paramedics and airlifted to a nearby hospital.

“All the patients are being transported to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment,” Meiring said.

Although it is unclear how the collision occurred but the trains were traveling from Pretoria.
