TV stars Somizi Mhlongo and Thando Thabethe have been unveiled as the hosts of the annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) which takes place this Saturday.
Thando took to her social media page to share the exiting news, she wrote:
“Good morning it’s official, so happy to FINALLY announce that I will be your host for the 22nd annual South African Music Awards alongside the crazy @somizi…”
Somizi and Thando will lead the pack of star-studded personalities who have been billed to present the glitzy ceremony. While actress Khanyi Mbau and radio personality Phat Joe will be doing interviews with winners‚ just minutes after they claim their awards in the Amstel Green Room.
Bonang Matheba‚ Pearl Modiadie and the hunky Lunga Shabalala will have the red carpet festivities covered for the night.
Kwesta‚ Emtee‚ DJ Bongz and The Muffinz will be performing at the event.
