Manchester Taxi Driver now next on ISIS Death Roll

After beheading the British hostage David Haines yesterday, The father of two, a taxi driver from Manchester, was paraded at the end of the horrific new video showing Alan Henning, 47 who travelled to Syria to deliver humanitarian aid, implying that he will be next.

Special forces and intelligence officers have been ordered to urgently locate Alan Henning.

Amid mounting pressure on the Prime Minister to act, specialists are drawing up plans for potential ‘high risk’ rescue operations to get him out of danger. They are using advanced voice box recognition to locate Briton Jihadi John, believing any remaining hostages – including Mr Henning – will be nearby.

In a rapid escalation of the UK’s military involvement last night, unmanned drones were set to be sent to target militants in Islamic State target militant strongholds. Meanwhile, in other developments yesterday:

A dozen RAF Tornado GR4s were placed on 12-hour notice to move to Cyprus in preparation for possible air strikes.

Mr Henning is believed to be held in the network of tunnels underneath the IS stronghold of Raqqa, northern Syria, by Jihadi John.

David Cameron vowed to ‘hunt down’ the killers of Mr Haines, 44, whom he called a ‘British hero.’
