Award-winning SA celebrity make-up artist Morag Steyn recently worked on “Ray”, in India, an upcoming anthology series titled “Spotlight” on Netflix that will present four of Satyajit Ray’s stories with a modern twist.
Steyn is no stranger to the Bollywood scene, having relocated to India early 2017, she has since been in between Dubai, India and South Africa. And has worked with various global celebrities such as Randeep Hooda, Kamal Hassan on Bigg Boss India, Atif Aslam, Ananya Birla, Radhika Madan and Neha Kakkar. Her work has also been showcased in international fashion magazines like Vogue Arabia, India and Italia.
Ray is set to stream on Netflix in 208 countries from June 25. “Working on the set of this film was definitely one of the most memorable experiences in my career, it was smooth sailing from start to finish, the whole team was fantastic. Creating makeup and hair looks for Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor was an absolute honour, he is an incredible actor and such a pleasure to work with.” expresses Steyn.
